This classic and timeless alpaca scarf is made for everyone.Its unisex design in our unique alpaca and Merino fibre blend keeps it a special staple for the wardrobe that is made to last.

Made out of New Zealand alpaca, mixed with organic New Zealand merino wool this garment is completely unique and revolutionary in the way knitwear behaves. Its tight stitch keeps it strong and resilient whilst also having a silky fine feel.

Perfect for all seasons - it is light enough to keep the sun off you in the Summer yet warm enough to snuggle into during the Winter.

Our extensive alpaca range includes 16 micron Peruvian alpaca and New Zealand alpaca both blended and pure to create a variety of weights and handle.

Key Benefits and Differences of Alpaca Wool to other Fibres

•Feels, looks and is luxurious. Alpaca wool is historically known as the 'fibre of the gods'.
•Five times warmer than sheep's wool.
•Strong and durable, so your garments will last a lifetime. They resist pilling so stay in good condition even after years of wear.
•Hypoallergenic, with no lanolin or oils. Alpaca can be worn by those allergic to wool.
•Sustainable and eco-friendly, alpacas are very gentle on the earth. As they have softly padded feet and are very resilient to outdoor conditions, they do not damage the ground they walk on, and consume and use very little resources in their lifespan compared to sheep or goats.
•Naturally water repellent, water will run off the garment after a light rain or splash of water. Alpaca wool is also very difficult to ignite, so the risk of it catching fire is low.

As always, our garments are proudly made in New Zealand. We're dedicated to keep it that way.

Firstly - does it need washing?

We use natural fibres which naturally are anti-odour (thanks to their antibacterial properties) and are breathable. Therefore we find that our garments only need to be washed every so often. Letting you garment breath in the open air is all that it may need.

However, if it does need a freshen up here are two options:

Machine wash in warm water (turn garment inside out and even better, in a garment bag), with wool/delicate detergent, on a wool cycle, lay flat to dry. We also advise you wash similar garments together (i.e. delicates together, not with towels!)

Hand wash in warm water, with wool/delicate detergent, squeezing gently, not soaking for over 5 minutes, roll into a towel and squeeze excess moisture out or put in a spin cycle in the washing machine, lay flat to dry.

Fold your garments once washed, we don't advise you hang your garments, especially when wet, this may cause your garment to stretch.

Our garments are pre-shrunk making them less susceptible to shrinking in the wash, however that being said generally avoid prolonged heat exposure either through hot water or tumble drying.

  • Domestic shipping has a flat fee of $4.50 NZD, with delivery within 3 business days (may vary for rural areas).
  • Free shipping on domestic and international orders over $400 NZD.
  • International delivery options include Standard (up to 14 days) and Express (up to 6 days), excluding Australian orders.
