Our cashmere turtle neck sweater features a fold over turtleneck and classic cable knit in two wearable colour ways from our exclusive Mahana range. Designed to be unisex with a relaxed fit. We recommend a Small for ladies and for men it is true to size. This one will be worn all Winter long.

Warmer, softer and more resilient to piling than 100% Cashmere.

We combine the luxury of cashmere with the beauty and functionality of Super-fine Merino wool and Possum down. This perfect combination creates ultra-soft, ultra-light garments that are resistant to piling and knitwear that wears well. The down fibres from possum fur are extremely light, fine and insulating, providing warmth without weight.

Small air spaces between the fibres allows garments to be warm without weight, while thin cuticle cells on the fibre surface make it smooth and shiny.

40% Cashmere Fibre, 40% Super-fine NZ Merino Wool, 20% NZ Possum Down Fibre

Firstly - does it need washing?

We use natural fibres which naturally are anti-odour (thanks to their antibacterial properties) and are breathable. Therefore we find that our garments only need to be washed every so often. Letting you garment breath in the open air is all that it may need.

However, if it does need a freshen up here are two options:

Machine wash in warm water (turn garment inside out and even better, in a garment bag), with wool/delicate detergent, on a wool cycle, lay flat to dry. We also advise you wash similar garments together (i.e. delicates together, not with towels!)

Hand wash in warm water, with wool/delicate detergent, squeezing gently, not soaking for over 5 minutes, roll into a towel and squeeze excess moisture out or put in a spin cycle in the washing machine, lay flat to dry.

Fold your garments once washed, we don't advise you hang your garments, especially when wet, this may cause your garment to stretch.

Our garments are pre-shrunk making them less susceptible to shrinking in the wash, however that being said generally avoid prolonged heat exposure either through hot water or tumble drying.

  • Free shipping on domestic and international orders over $400 NZD.
  • International delivery options include Standard (up to 14 days) and Express (up to 6 days), excluding Australian orders.

Soft and comfortable

I spend a lot of time walking in the mountains and around the beautiful lakes of New Zealand. I asked questions to find out more details about this garment as I was looking for a sweater that was warm, soft and light weight.
All my questions were answered by the friendly people from the company, so I decided to buy!
After receiving it I was so happy with my new sweater.
I could wear it next to my skin with no itch or irritation, so super soft with the blend of Cashmere, superfine Merino and Possum down.
I found I could wear it under my light weight jacket and still feel nice and warm.
A very convenient thing for me also was;
I could wash it in a machine on a light wash with liquid woollen wash spin it light and wear it again next day.
